Desert and Ocean Classrooms

Junior Kindergarten is a readiness program that provides learning opportunities that are uniquely challenging to older four and five year olds. Pre-reading, mathematics, science and language experiences including Spanish are designed to challenge students who are growing in confidence, independence and sociability. All Junior Kindergarteners participate in the enrichment programs in the Avenues building which includes the art studio, library, science lab, drama and dance center and physical education room. In addition, Junior Kindergarteners spend time each week in the Children's Discovery Garden and enjoy several field trips throughout the school year.

Ages:
Children who will be eligible to attend Kindergarten next fall.

Schedule:
5 day programs only
Half Day:
Monday- Friday: 7:15AM - 12:30PM or
Full Day:
Monday - Thursday: 7:15AM - 6:00PM
Friday: 7:15AM - 5:30PM

Meals:
Two snacks and lunch
